nanowrimo: day 1

So the first day of nanowrimo my kids had the day off school. There went the idea of writing while they're gone. However, I managed to exceed my daily goal and didn't feel like I ignored them too much. They played outside and did crafts. It's all good.

This was a good writing day. I'm curious and excited to see how the rest of the month goes. It's only going to get busier so I hope these next couple of weeks I can surpass my daily word count goals. That way I can relax over Thanksgiving weekend. That's the plan anyway. We'll see what happens.

P.S. It's so much fun!! I'm loving it.

  1. Wow! Good luck with that!

(By the way, Lucy is doing the "Young Writer's Program" version of NaNoWriMo and she's been loving it, too! Of course, her overall goal is much smaller, so she's not as stressed.)
